GO SLOW MINDIL BEACH PICNIC RACES Promotion Terms and Conditions

This page sets out the Terms and Conditions for two promotions run in connection with the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races event, held Saturday 8 August 2026 at Mindil Beach, Darwin, Northern Territory:
- Promotion A — the Voco Darwin Accommodation Giveaway
- Promotion B — the General Admission (Unlicensed Area) Ticket Giveaways
Promotion A — Voco Darwin Accommodation Giveaway
1. PROMOTERThe promoter of this promotion is Sprout Creative, ABN 55 095 952 640, of 3/40 Cavenagh St, Darwin City NT 0800 (the "Promoter").
2. PROMOTION PERIODEntry into this promotion opens when VIP tickets to the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races go on sale, and closes when VIP tickets are no longer available for sale (whether due to sell-out or the end of the ticket sale period).
3. HOW TO ENTEREntry is automatic. Any person who purchases one or more eligible VIP tickets to the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races during the Promotion Period will automatically receive one entry into the prize draw per order. Multiple VIP tickets purchased in a single order will count as one entry; purchasing VIP tickets across separate orders will result in one entry per order. No separate registration, purchase, or action is required beyond the ticket purchase itself.
Purchase of a General Admission (Unlicensed Area) or Licensed General Admission ticket does not entitle the purchaser to entry into this promotion.
4. ELIGIBILITYThis promotion is open to any person aged 18 years or older who purchases an eligible VIP ticket during the Promotion Period, except:
- employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Voco Darwin, and any agency directly associated with the administration of this promotion;
- persons who purchase a ticket on behalf of, or for resale to, a third party where that third party is not the named ticket holder.
The winner must be present at the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races event on Saturday 8 August 2026 to claim the prize. See clause 6 below for further detail.
5. THE PRIZEOne (1) winner will receive a 2-night wet season staycation at voco Darwin Suites by IHG (87 Mitchell Street, Darwin, NT 0800), including:

Total approximate retail value of the prize: $1,430.
Travel dates must fall between 1 November 2026 and 30 April 2027 (inclusive), subject to availability. Blackout periods apply during the Supercars and Darwin Cup events. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part, except at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Flights, transport to and from Darwin, meals not specified above, and any other incidental expenses are not included in the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. DRAW AND WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winner will be drawn and announced live at the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races event on Saturday 8 August 2026, selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The winner must be present at the event at the time of the announcement to claim the prize. The winner will be invited on stage to collect their prize. If the announced winner is not in attendance or cannot be located within a reasonable time at the event, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner at random from the remaining eligible entries, and may repeat this process until a winner who is present at the event is identified. Photos and/or video of the winner collecting their prize may be taken and shared on the Promoter's social media channels, together with the winner's name, in accordance with applicable privacy law, unless the winner objects at the time.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Travel dates must fall between 1 November 2026 and 30 April 2027 (inclusive), subject to availability. Blackout periods apply during the Supercars and Darwin Cup events. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part, except at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Flights, transport to and from Darwin, meals not specified above, and any other incidental expenses are not included in the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The winner must be present at the event at the time of the announcement to claim the prize. The winner will be invited on stage to collect their prize. If the announced winner is not in attendance or cannot be located within a reasonable time at the event, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner at random from the remaining eligible entries, and may repeat this process until a winner who is present at the event is identified. Photos and/or video of the winner collecting their prize may be taken and shared on the Promoter's social media channels, together with the winner's name, in accordance with applicable privacy law, unless the winner objects at the time.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- By entering (i.e. by purchasing a VIP ticket during the Promotion Period), entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter's decision in connection with any aspect of this promotion is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, except as required by law.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who has not complied with these Terms and Conditions.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
- The Promoter may collect personal information for the purpose of conducting this promotion and may disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to Voco Darwin, and as required by law.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints about the promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
Promotion B — General Admission (Unlicensed Area) Ticket Giveaways
These Terms and Conditions apply to each "like, comment and tag" General Admission (Unlicensed Area) ticket giveaway run by the Promoter on Facebook and/or Instagram in the lead-up to the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races (each a "Giveaway"). The Promoter may run multiple Giveaways over time under these same Terms and Conditions. Each Giveaway is a separate and independent promotion, with its own entry period and draw date as set out in the Giveaway Schedule below.

3. HOW TO ENTER
To enter a Giveaway, during its entry period an entrant must, on the relevant Facebook and/or Instagram post published by the Promoter:
- like the post; and
- comment on the post, tagging at least one (1) person they would like to attend the event with.
Only one entry per person will be counted per Giveaway, regardless of the number of comments or tags made. Entries that do not meet both requirements above will not be counted.
4. ELIGIBILITYEach Giveaway is open to any person aged 18 years or older, with a valid and active Facebook or Instagram account, except:
- employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and any agency directly associated with the administration of this promotion.
5. THE PRIZE
Each Giveaway has one (1) prize: four (4) General Admission (Unlicensed Area) tickets to the Go Slow Mindil Beach Picnic Races on Saturday 8 August 2026, with a total approximate retail value of $240 (plus GST) per Giveaway.
Each Giveaway listed in the Giveaway Schedule above has its own separate prize and winner.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part, except at the sole discretion of the Promoter. The prize does not include transport, accommodation, food, beverage or any other incidental expenses.
6. DRAW AND WINNER NOTIFICATION
For each Giveaway, the winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during that Giveaway's entry period, on the date set out in the Giveaway Schedule above.
The winner of each Giveaway will be notified via a comment reply and/or direct message on the platform on which they entered, within 5 business days of the draw. The winner must respond and provide any requested details within 5 days of being notified, after which the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
Each winner's name (or social media handle/name) may be announced publicly on the Promoter's Facebook and/or Instagram channels.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter's decision in connection with any aspect of each Giveaway is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, except as required by law.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, including entrants who use fake accounts or otherwise attempt to manipulate the entry mechanic.
- If for any reason a Giveaway is not capable of running as planned due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical failures of Facebook or Instagram, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend that Giveaway.
- These Giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook or Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints about a Giveaway must be directed to the Promoter, not to Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
